MOTORcheckUP Single Test

This package includes one test card and an evaluation sheet, all delivered in a sturdy protective cover for optimal storage. It’s ideal for a single test, perfect for assessing engine conditions when buying a second-hand car, and also useful for workshops, experts, and expert organizations. It’s a great gift idea for friends and customers. For regular use, we recommend our six-pack set.

MOTORcheckUP Garage - Testset

This test kit is specifically designed for workshop, ideal for marketing, service, and promotion purposes.

It streamlines engine analyses, saving time and ensuring comprehensive checks.

The test includes two test windows: one for the workshop’s initial assessment and the second for the client to check themselves after approximately 500 km or after maintenance or repairs. This involvement of the client enhances their confidence and safety. If the client cannot evaluate themselves, they are prompted to return to the workshop.

MOTORcheckUP for Second Hand Car Dealers

This set includes two tests, each with one test field, an evaluation brochure, and a reader.

This test set provides second-hand car dealers with protection against compensation claims and enhances their potential for customer confidence.

While you can inspect almost everything in a used car and provide guarantees, the engine has always been a “grey” area. There was no way to look inside and make a definitive statement. MOTORcheckUP changes this by allowing you to look inside the engine easily, quickly, inexpensively, and comprehensively.

The client signs Test No. 1 when buying the car, confirming that the engine is in good condition. Test No. 2 should be performed by the client after driving approximately 1,000 km to ensure that Test No. 1 was conducted on their car. This serves as evidence for the dealer and provides the buyer with additional safety.

MOTORBIKE TEST

Developed specifically for motorbike riders, MOTORcheckUP and FLUIDcheckUP cater to this target group. Like all our tests, customisation options are available to match client branding.

This test assesses the brake fluid and engine condition, addressing the safety and quality concerns of motorbike riders. Being able to evaluate the health of their machine and the quality of their brake fluid brings peace of mind to riders.

Introducing our sophisticated test designed for experts, featuring four test fields and manufactured in DIN A6 format across 8 pages.

This version was developed in collaboration with TÜV SÜD, specifically their assessment and leasing return department, as well as members of MAS, SZU, and in consultation with SV of VKS, BVKS, and KUS.

FOR CLASSIC CARS

Gain an inside view of the engine, gearbox, and hydraulic system, allowing you to assess their condition before purchase. This enables targeted repairs, as advocated by Car-Expert Franz Haag, who employs MOTORcheckUP for diagnosing classic and modern engines. At events like the “Retro Classic Show” in Stuttgart, Haag demonstrated various non-invasive diagnostic methods, including visual inspection with a stethoscope, compression testing, endoscopy, and MOTORcheckUP for chemical-physical examination—all without engine disassembly.

You will get an inside view of the engine, the gear-box and the hydraulic-system of a classic car.
This way you can check the condition of the main components of a classic car before you even buy it.

Car-Expert Franz Haag uses MOTORcheckUP in the diagnosis of classic car engines as well as newer engines

He presented various diagnostic methods at the “Retro Classic Show” in Stuttgart without dismantling the engine, like:

- Visual Inspection together with listening with a stethoscope
- Compression test / pressure loss measurement
- Endoscopy (camera probe inside the engine)

Franz Haag (car expert) about MOTORcheckUP and how it works:

Engine oil is used for lubrication, wear protection, friction reduction, sealing, corrosion protection, keeping the engine clean and the neutralization of acidic combustion products.
MOTORcheckUP is an analysis method, that allows initial conclusions to be drawn about the condition of an engine without a great deal of laboratory effort.
This process is based on the principle of “chromatography”. In chemistry, chromatography is a process that allows a mixture of substances to be separated by distributing its individual components between a stationary and a mobile phase. This principal was first described in 1901 by the Russian Botanist Michail Semjonowitsch Zwet. In chemical analysis, this method is used to separate mixtures of substances into ingredients that are as uniform as possible for the purpose of identification or quantitative determination.

This method was further developed by Mr. Horstmeyer, MOTORcheckUP for engine oil analysis and a patent was applied for.

A small amount of oil is taken from the engine at operating temperature and a drop is applied to the chromatography paper. After a soaking time of 2 – 15 minutes (depending on the condition of the oil), the test field can be evaluated using templates and reference images.

Based on the test result, statements can be made about sooting, contamination, metal abrasion, ageing, water content and fuel content. This allows conclusions to be drawn about the engine condition or its adjustment.

If a more comprehensive and quantitatively precise result is required, an additional analysis must be carried out in a laboratory.
